The U.S. Forest Service says that on Wednesday, it opened the U.P.O. Discovery World in Savannah.
It’s a tourist attraction with a theme park feel and a large selection of rides.
Its goal is to attract visitors who want to explore nature, eat in the best restaurants, visit museums, shop, and more.
The Forest Service said the park will open on Aug. 19 and will be a place for people of all ages to explore Savannah and the surrounding areas.
The park is expected to have 1,600 rides, including a water slide, a zip line, a climbing wall, a bocce court, a dog run, a water ride, a slide, and a canoe.
The company, Discovery World, says the theme park will also feature an interactive video game, including the “Adventure of the Seas” that will let players climb, dive, ride, and play in a variety of different waters.
It will offer more than 1,400 rides.
The park will be open for visitors ages 12 and older and will provide more than 3,200 meals, including lunch, dinner, and snacks, the Forest Service reported.
It also plans to offer free camping and overnight camping.
There will be outdoor activities and activities for kids, including horseback riding, a canoe race, water sports, archery, hiking, and horseback-riding.
The Forest Service has been offering tours of its parks to visitors since 2008.
